Don't Share Personal Info Too Soon

  • Do not give anyone your home address, workplace, or your children's school in the early stages of getting to know someone.
  • Don't share your phone number until you have sufficient trust in the person.
  • Keep conversations inside the Zojestan platform as much as possible — our chat system is encrypted.
  • Avoid sending personal or family photos in the early stages.

Recognize Warning Signs

  • Someone who insists on inappropriate intimacy from the start or wants to quickly move off the platform.
  • Emotional stories to receive financial help or personal information.
  • Claims that contradict their profile or previous statements.
  • Pressure for an immediate response or hasty decision-making.
  • Requests for photos or video before any proper introduction.

First Meeting — In a Safe Environment

  • Always hold the first meeting in a public, crowded place — a cafe, restaurant, or public space.
  • It is strongly recommended to have a mahram or family member present for the first meeting.
  • Always inform a trusted family member or friend of the time and place of the meeting.
  • Have your own independent transportation — do not get into an unknown person's car.
  • Keep your mobile phone charged and accessible.

Respectful Communication

  • You have the right to decline any inappropriate request — without guilt or obligation to explain.
  • If a conversation becomes uncomfortable at any point, end it immediately.
  • Serious matchmaking does not need to be rushed — a person who respects you will be patient.
  • Inform your family about the person you have met and seek their opinion.

Report and Block — Without Hesitation

  • If someone behaves inappropriately, immediately press the report button on their profile or in chat.
  • Blocking completely cuts off contact — the blocked person cannot see your profile.
  • The Zojestan team reviews every report and blocks accounts found to be in violation.
  • You are not obligated to endure — a safe environment is your right.

If You Feel in Danger

  • In case of any real threat, immediately contact emergency services or local police in your country.
  • Keep screenshots of conversations for documentation.
  • Report the issue through Zojestan's support section.
  • Talk to a family member or trusted person — don't be alone.
